Carlo Baldi

Carlo Baldi was born in 1939 in Reggio Emilia, Italy. He is a resident of the same city in Via Dimitrov 3, and has Italian citizenship.
In 1967 he was married to Silvana Bedogni. They have two children, Francesca, a lawyer and Andrea, an I.T. expert.
Carlo baldi is a graduate of The Università degli Studi in Parma in Economics and Business Studies and has attended language courses at the Alliance Francaise di Parigi and Language institutes in Dublin and Oxford.
In 1969 he became a member of the professional association of accountants and in 1971 of the association of auditors of accounts.
He became Ordinary professor of Company Economics at the Libera Università degli Studi in Lugano in the Faculty of Human and Technology Sciences (legislation no.47/2003).

Professional Experience

Following significant experience in the area of co-operative companies aged 18 - 32 he opened his own accounting practice, Studio Baldi in Reggio Emilia with branches in Milan and Parma.
From 1990 to 1993 he was City officer for Patrimony in the Municipality of Reggio Emilia.
In 1990 he founded the Pro-Università association in Reggio Emilia which is now the Reggio Emilia University Foundation Studium Regiense of which he is President.
He was also President, from its inception to the time of closure, of Reggio Città degli Studi S.p.a., a company which made possible the creation and development of the Reggio Emilia University campus.
In December 2002 he participated in the constitution of Laboratorio per Reggio (Workshops for Reggio) Association, of which he is President.
